Payment and Overdue Balance Policy

Payment Policies:

  • On-going year long dance classes: payment due by (1st) first of the month
  •  R&P/Production fees and other sessions/workshops/camps:  Payment is due in full upon registration, unless other arrangements have been made
  •  Any account unpaid after the (10th) tenth of the month will be charged a  $10 late charge per class
  • Pay by PayPal, credit card or cash, check at the office or by mail. - $25 charge for returned check
  • When making a payment by check or PayPal, please include the student's first and last name/s in the memo, so we may credit the proper account
  • You will not be receiving a statement from our office for your  tuition.
  • No refund for missed classes. Make-ups must be within 30 days. Please call the office to schedule make-up classes.
  • Private class packages expire within 3 months of purchase
  • A 2 hour cancellation notice is required for all private classes scheduled in order to not be billed for class
  • 30 days notice to drop class if registered

  • If you change your class style, add or delete a class or have any questions concerning the monthly charge, please inform someone in the office.

Overdue Balances and Refund Procedure:

Too often we receive Late payments and/or Back Dated checks that unfortunately we cannot overlook as our creditors will not do the same for us. The studio has financial obligations of its own to meet so we ask you to please be prompt about your payments. The quality of our facility and faculty depends upon a system of mutual respect and cooperation. We understand that anyone may make a late payment from time to time, but please be respectful of our late fee policy and graciously include your late fee in your payment. Thank you!



  • A statement will be mailed and/or emailed for amount due with late charges assessed for overdue payments only.
  •  Any account unpaid after the (10th) tenth of the month will be charged a  $10 late charge per class
  • If you make a payment late, please include your late fee or you will be billed. If you make your payments by mail, be certain to allow adequate time for mail delivery. Thank you for your co-operation.
  • Any student with an overdue balance of more than 30 days will not be allowed into class until payment in full is received or payment arrangements have been made.
  • Students will not receive their costumes nor parents able to purchase show tickets, if their account has an unpaid balance- be it costumes, dance tuition,performance fee,etc 
  • If for any reason you decide to discontinue your classes you are not obligated to pay for the balance of the school session, however you will be responsible for any balance due.
  • All communication is sent via email; please keep a current address on file in the office and please read your e-mail.
  • The school year will consist of 36 weeks of classes held over a ten-month period.
  • Yearly Dance Tuition is broken down into 10 equal monthly payments.
  • Production/Performance Fees are due in full upon registration for production period
  • Dancers/Music Students/Private Students Production/Performance Fees due by 1st class of semester if performing in one of our shows.
  • You are not paying for scheduled school vacations and holidays.   Make-ups are allowed for individual vacations or sick days.
  • A student may join at any time from August through January if there is space available.
  • The studio will be closed for major holidays and school vacations – we run on the San Jose Unified school system. See our monthly calendar (click here)
  • There will be Summer Performing & Creative Arts offerings in the summer
  • Private classes are held year round.
  • Class Tuition and Fees do not cover additional supply fees for classes: instruments, dance wear, costumes, etc.
  • Costume Fees: For end of year Celebration Performance is due January 15th ($65 per class) additional costs may incur for tights, shoes and accessories. For students in our Young Performers Program- see YPP Handbook.

  • There are no refunds for costumes ordered.
  • Celebration Performances and other Productions are ticketed events (tickets prices TBD based on venue and production) Students do not receive complimentary tickets
